Sharon Carpenter is an award-winning broadcast journalist, host and producer who serves as the co-creator of and a cast member on the new VH1 hit reality show, “The Gossip Game”.  Carpenter has built a stellar reputation through her on-air work at the BBC, CBS, Black Entertainment Television (BET), WPIX and hip-hop mogul, Russell Simmons’ news and entertainment website GlobalGrind.  Originally from England, Carpenter moved to the United States to study at Pace University in New York City and graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a BBA degree in business management.  The daughter of two doctors (and former Harvard Medical School professors), Carpenter first gained international attention through her work as an anchor and reporter for BET News and a contributing correspondent for the BBC News program BBC World News America.
