Melissa Otero is an internationally acclaimed musical artist in both the Latin and Pop/Rock world. Born in New Jersey and raised in Puerto Rico, Melissa felt compelled to honor both her American and Latin roots in her music by writing and performing in both English and Spanish. She released her first single "My First Everything" in 2006 which became the #1 single for two consecutive weeks on Hot 96 in Portland, Oregon. Fueled by the success of the single, she immediately released the Spanish version “Mi Primer Amor” together in her first EP and it instantly became a favorite in Colombia with over 500 downloads in it’s first few weeks.
